Don’t I look great?

Words and PicturesLast week I watched a terrific movie that debated the value of words versus pictures. (Logically enough, the movie was called “Words and Pictures”.) Is a picture really worth a thousand words? Let’s find out…

My posts are generally a lot shorter than 1,000 words, but today I’ll replace my words with a picture. For our purposes, the caption can be considered part of the picture.

The following cartoon was drawn pro bono by a ridiculously talented friend of mine (I’d hate him if I didn’t love him) who lives in the far-flung city of Spokane, WA. (Yes, people really do live there.) I gave him the words and he gave me the picture.

My friends with MS (as well as anyone who suffers from an “invisible illness”) will have no problem identifying with this poor soul:
